The hypothesis of this episode is that a genuine understanding of Christianity is predicated on reconciling a number of seeming contradictions. The experiment is to learn to be ok with the paradoxes of the godly life, and discover the right balance in our understanding of God’s principles.
We see from the thinking people who wrote the Scriptures that we can trust God and we can also understand Him and our life in His world. Working through some of our questions with God make us more assured in our day to day lives with God.
I appreciate Jeremiah’s encouragement to explore the godly truths we don’t really understand, ask God to teach us and help us unfold and embrace these paradoxes. He presents a good list of truth pairings to consider.
