You can’t have a deep relationship unless you feel wanted. James 4:5 tells us that God “jealously yearns for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us.” This means that God wants you! You don’t have to do anything to earn it. The foundation of the relationship with Him is already in place. This should change our understanding of our relationship with God. He already wants you close to Him.
