  1. Hey Jeremiah – I just listened to #83 and it was freaking awesome. Chris & I took a class from Craig regarding this very subject. It was also awesome. We covered much of this topic in the class as we worked through Craig’s book “But … is it Worship”. This has changed my idea of what I thought worship even was. And my posture has changed.

I love how you are careful to define terms. It brings amazing clarity. Duh. But it also directs my thinking into new paths and helps me consider other ways of approach.

I also loved how you were able to define the “feeling” Craig was expressing at the end as worship abc music being a relational feeling. That was powerful.

I’m looking forward to part 2 of this subject.

Good work Jeremiah. You are hitting the mark.

  2. In today’s world I am often influenced to exaggerate my position in creation, and I am reminded in this podcast about who God is to me, and who I am to Him. Deep stuff. Thanks for the help.

  3. Jeremiah and Craig, thank you for this. Looking forward to more!
Over the last couple years I’ve become aware we are surrounded by spirits that demand we bow to them. The spirits of this age threaten terrible consequences if we don’t bow down, worship, and serve them.
In my freedom of will I choose to serve God only and bow down before Him only. More and more I’m realizing when I’m bowing down to a different spirit. At that moment I can choose to do what that spirit wants me to do, or bow down before God instead. It’s a moment-by-moment choice. I don’t always make the right choice, but my will is set, so eventually He will be the only God I bow to.
Jesus said, “if you love Me, you’ll do what I say.” I think that when we do what He says, we are bowing down to Him, worshiping Him. This is loving Him.

  4. Jeremiah and Craig, Thank you so much for this podcast.
This is the very root of our Worship and life before our Father. Truly, our life is to be a Worship back to our Father and everyday I am so thankful for His love and grace extended to me. You are so right, He is the potter and we are the clay. What is wonderful about that is that He is a loving Father that has only our best interest in mind, (even though in our finite mind we don’t always see it that way.) Anyway, again thank you so very much for who you both are and what you are ministering out.
